| Pub Date: 6/17/2008 3:15:00 PM | | | Everyone that puts a home for sale thinks that if someone calls for the house, that they immediately have a prospective buyer. The truth is that even if you get 100 calls, don’t let that make you comfortable thinking that your house is going to be sold right away. Of those 100 calls, less than 50% are serious buyers. Out of the other 50%, half of them want your home but cannot afford it. So that leaves you with 25% of the calls as true prospects. With inventory levels at an all time high, those prospects have a lot of options therefore if even 1 of them places an offer on your home, you have done well.
As always I suggest massive exposure for your home including listing your home on the MLS and any major For Sale By Owner website. Price your property to sell and be patient so you can find that 1 that will buy your home. | | | | Subscribe to this blog |
