Using a broker, doing it yourself or even marketing the property on tons of websites. The bottom line of it all is the fact that inventories are not moving and the supply more then triples the demand. This to me raises one question, is the for sale by owner process still a good one? My answer is yes. A for sale by owner option will give the seller a chance to sell his property and save on the selling commissions. At worst case, he will pay just half of that commission if for some reason the buyer comes in through the help of a Realtor. Then again, there are always a few draw backs to this option. You need to be sure that you know how to handle a real estate transaction. Remember, selling a house is not something you do everyday, so please, do some research and make sure you know all necessary steps for such action.
